Yeah, much better! Perhaps ad some extra mesh planes to emulate extra strand of hair, as you can see with the ponytail hair. And the hair texture is to smooth, or as a great guru of blender repeatedly said: "Imperfection is the digital perfection”. Perhaps make the lines of the texture in a slight random waveform.
