The first of a series of wig creation tutorials using the Makehuman base mesh. I'm using Blender 2.49b--because I've got a 15 unit render farm set up--but this should work on any 3d editor. Basically, a 'scalp' vertex group needs to be created, and then longitudinal creases to create a usable UV map. I'm going to change this model, because once I animated it, it was easy to see that the strands could have been chosen better.
