I know a few folks from your neck of the woods online. I have yet to meet up face to face with any of them. All are good friends so far, so it would seem that Germans and Tennesseans can network without a hitch. Plus, I am one of those old hippies you read about...

I can relate to the pillow armed hug. Some good. Some bad. Most unwelcome, especially when either proceeded or postceeded by a head rub where they like to ruffle your 'do. No head pats, please. Aunties never learn. Some uncles do not, either. Me no gusta...

I did not mind a non smothering genuine love hug from an elder or friend, but I ran from the sweaty and dirty ones, along with the head patting 'do rufflers. I enjoy being clean and well kept. I like to stay that way when and where ever possible.

We will watch that movie you made when the link comes online. If it looks as good as the stills, it should be epic. I will eventually learn how to do the animation of human figure part, but putting the people in the scene is a long way off for me...

The hair thing is going to be something I need to study and figure out. I an still a ways off on that as well. As for the clothes, Elv is amazing and her skills are going to be seen much more in the near future as she branches out into more body styles both male and female.

And so, we move the community forward by leaps and bounds these days, yes....

Hi MakeHuman Users ...

"porn" instead of mickey mouse ....

it is rather sad. But Joel is right about YouTube .. YouTube does adult ratings and then we would be visible only with a password.
I thought of creating a second channel on dailymotion in more liberal Europe, called "MakeHuman Art and Technique" ... it should be our official one for e.g. tutorials but also art (yes even in tutorials we have the problem)

Forget about that !!!!


So this happened: I was able to upload the video, it was private (no one is able to see it only I can). I could add it with a password. That I tried after that. At least there was a video-player and I could send the link and the password. Well that's what I thought, The channel was visible for one hour. After that time this happened:

I was banned completely. I am rather disappointed and opened a request ... meanwhile I got this answer

Some lines later they mentioned that others then will not use the channel. Well a good one. They lose money.

I remember those Quelle catalogs (a German warehouse) when I was 12 years old. Females looked like her and I was not shocked. It was normal in that time and nobody cares. For the females we had some muscular guys with underwear as well in that catalog. So much about liberal Europe of today. Dailymotion is based in France.

So we are still searching for a second video hoster. If you know a video hoster less ridiculous and who has not this way of moral standards please give us a hint. If someone is not afraid to upload it on YouTube no problem, just do it but send the link then. I will avoid google accounts for some reasons.

If someone wants the lingerie ... I can upload it as well ... but it is specially weighted, it will look different in the positions Anissa does (the stretching problem in crotch area).

Honestly it kinda sucks. I made images presenting the 50s. Now we got the attitude and moral of the 50s.
This video was just fun of bits and bytes and yes, maybe a typical male fantasy.

So I hope at least the more open-minded people will have no problem. Or does it look too real and they banned me for that? I guess not.

About the video itself: there are some bugs. She still slides a bit (I am working on a new IK system but it is not ready to go) The hair is also not 100%. Some moves are a bit odd.
Blender 2.93 sucks and completely messed up the hair (there is a reflection plane added to avoid the hair going through the shoulder and that bounced it up) ... so it was baked with 2.79 and rendered with 2.93 then.
Unfortunately 2.93 seems to have a problem with rendering animations including hair and stalls after some frames. I managed it by starting it from cli.

So it was a lot of work .. but it should be a demo what can be done with MakeHuman (and other software) ... goal was: all OpenSource and cc0 or cc-by (vocals and music as well)

I would consider posting/listing as an animation modeling lingerie in a professional environment.
And the French; who are they to criticize? Some of their fashion shows are off the cliff.

Also experimenting with animations, of course I was inspired when I saw your "Walk in the shower" and thought it would be fun to bring the characters to life. Right now I'm testing the particle hair physics, the settings are a bit tricky to understand. I use the whole body as a collision object, margin 0.001 or 0.002 which works better than expected in Blender 2.93 and 3.

I tried to do a low ponytail using strand hair for my Evi character. Once again I used the method explained by DredNicolson, the hair of the ponytail is emitted from the inner of the blue torus (used as hair band or ponytail holder). Two additional scalps are used on the main part of the head (left and right side as always). This time I also used only 5 hair-segments and did two subdivisions in the first segment, so that I can follow the shape of the head. I also used waves to make the hair more fluffy.

From the side you can't see the hair band ...
