I googled "blender 2.79 rigging for noobs" and found some video tutorials. But you'll probably want to learn the basics of navigating blender and editing a model (adding/removing/moving the vertices/edges/faces) before doing something as advanced as rigging.

Yes I watched it the other week. It's good. Now I need to watch it 5 more times until I own it. As to MH import issues ALT-R and ALT-G in BOTH object and pose modes seems to cover a lot of sins.
