Makeclothes 1.1, Blender 2.77, not showing

So I'm working with the Steam version of Blender 2.77, with MakeTarget, MakeClothes, and MakeWalk installed in the addons directory in Blender's Steam folder. All show up and are checked off in User Prefs, auto-load scripts is on, but neither MakeTarget nor MakeClothes show up in the n-shelf. MakeWalk, however, does show up on the left side of the viewport. Not getting any error messages that I can see. What's going on/what am I doing wrong?

Impossible to say based on this info. A quick google does not reveal any particular problems regarding addons for steam blender, and I have no problems running makeclothes/maketarget in vanilla blender 2.77.

My guess would be that something unrelated is wrong, such as a permission problem in the addons folder (the steam user not having permission to read files you copied in as another user/admin). Or that for some reason some files went missing when unzipping/copying the tools. But these are just pure speculations.

It looks like all the files are there, and a permissions issue would just mean that all addons wouldn't work, right? (Including MakeWalk, which does). What other info would you need?

edit: I do have Python 3.5 installed on this machine. The console that opens as Blender loads says it's using the local version of Python from the Blender folder. I need it for work though, so can't uninstall it.

edit: Installed Blender 2.70a from Blender's site, along with a new download of all the Blender Tools, and I'm still not seeing MakeClothes or MakeTarget

Lets get a bit more specific which Operating System,why did you go for blender 2.70a instead of the latest which is 2.77 as in your first post.Do you also have Python 2.7 installed as that is what the plug-ins where written in.

1) Win 8.1
2) I just wanted to try an older version to see if the problem was 2.77
3) I do not have Python 2.7 installed, only 3.5. The rest of Blender runs just fine though.

edit: Never mind I was looking for it in the wrong place. Sorry.

Glad you got things resolved,getting a new box myself next week having the vendor uninstall all the ad-ware then drop a 3Tb HD into it for Linux so Win 10 does not know it's there though it will be my first 64-bit windows OS, a gtx 750 4Gb in it so should see some performance increase.
