Distorted characters

my mxh2 characters are deformed with bvh movement on them. is this a weight paint problem?

If you mean the left wrist that looks like the bvh may not have proper constraints on the joint movement looks like a twist anomaly,and the weighting would indeed be influencing the distortion.
