Cannot install blendertools.

Where could i locate the addons folder? I think i located it and i placed the makehuman blender tools as zip files inside it, but on preferences i cannot find the makehuman plugins. I also tried copy2blender.bat but it didn't work either. I am using Windows 8.1

How could i install them?

When on the addon tab of blender's preferences use the install from file button at the bottom navigate to each of the Mh addons.This has to be done for each desperately they can be zipped.

@MTKnife i tried louki's method it worked, but when i was about to activate it, it said: no module named make_target or something.

In the blendertools folder there should be three folders "makeclothes,maketarget and makewalk" for makeclothes to work maketarget must also be installed just follow the same steps as you did for makeclothes.

okay just to refresh what should be in the docs somewhere


given a blender version like say the current 2.76 then

inside the USER folder you should find a scripts\addons\ folder

if you have a copy of the blendertools from the source copy then just copy the folders as is to the addons folder run blender and then go into the prefs and activate them
if you download the blendertools zip then unzip and copy the make* folders to the addons folder and do likewise (btw the mhx addon is depreciated)


now if you can't find the folder 1 show hidden folders 2 run blender at least once first 3 make sure of what version of blender you are using if you have 2.75 then adjust as needed)

Blender addons do not need to be unzipped after all a .blend file is a zip file lots of the commercial blender addons are installed as zips.
