[!contains nudity!] makehuman-utils documentation?

Postby ionosys » Wed Mar 25, 2015 11:27 am

Hi,

i searched about the documentation about makehuman-utils (https://bitbucket.org/MakeHuman/makehuman-utils) but couldn't find anyone, especially about the weighttool.
Could anyone tell me please if some docs somewhere exists?

I want to change a little bit the base weightmapping, and want to know, which file it is and how i could change it with the makehuman-utils, because i couldn't figured it out :(
I attached screenshots of the area i would like to change, first 2 screenshots are with the "base" mesh of makehuman, the both other screenshots are the female genitalia mesh

That's why the default skeleton has an extra bone in the upperleg, to be able to convey these types of extreme poses without unintended warping.

With a simple skeleton there is only so much you can do. If possible, stay away from extreme poses. Otherwise, you might have to manually weightpaint corrections for your rig.
It would be very hard, if not impossible to tweak the weigths of a simple game rig to work perfectly with such poses for all body varieties.

hi,

thx for your reply, but same result with the default rig. The screenshots self are from makehuman, not blender or different 3rd party software, but if i export the modell i get the result of that what i see.
