MHX Expressions panel in Blender empty

Postby 851d229 » Sat Mar 02, 2013 4:28 am

Hi, I have the most recent MakeHuman with Blender 2.65. In makehuman, I exported a model with the Expressions, and in Blender when I import it, I have checked the "shapekeys" but when I go in the MHX expressions panel, there is nothing. But I have many parameters in the "MHX Expressions Units".

Question: how can I have all Expressions parameters in the "MHX Expressions" panel? Do I miss something?

thank you !

The expressions were not introduced until after alpha 7 was frozen. You need to use the version in svn, cf http://www.makehuman.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=9274

Finally I succefully installed the SVN, and when I import an MHX model to Blender, the expressions are there.

Can we expect to have this feature in the next officiel release of MakeHuman? because with the SVN, we can't see anything of the model when we render it in Blender.... I know that SVN contains bugs

This is because Blender does not find the textures. The MHX format has recently changed to use local paths to textures. If you download a fresh blender from graphicall.org, or copy the mhx importer from tools/blender26x/mhx_importer to Blender's addons directory, the textures should show up.

Yeah, and you must not move the mhx file relative to the textures.
