Skeleton export

Postby Geit » Thu Jul 19, 2012 10:17 am

Can MH export a character with a mesh skeleton? Wish to use it in Blender.

Did not get any response when posting this question in the Newbie group, Jun 18.

If you mean a skeleton of bones that control the mesh vertices location; yes. See the MH rig documentation.

If you mean a cage around the mesh that controls the location of the vertices through manipulating the cage; yes. See the MH Cage Deformation documentation.

And if you meant the mesh of a skeleton, perhaps what you need is this: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7545292/SKELETON.3DS (public domain)
Kinda rough, but a start.

What I want is this:

The intention is to make reflexology charts.

No, currently there is no anatomical skeleton to export in MH.
It's a feature of a pretty old version (not sure which).

We are thinking of re-introducing this feature in the future, but don't expect it for the next release.

Thanks for the reply. I found MH 0.9.1RC1 and found that it produces what I want.
Nice if this feature can be added to the roadmap page, as a first step. :-)
