importing my MH character into MD 2 - help?

Postby EagleBZ » Mon Apr 14, 2014 12:38 am

I've finally tried importing my MH character (Kelly/Kelyye) w/ BVH skeleton/humanIK rigging, into Marvelous Designer 2, the character (model) seems to import (yes I cleared default avatar) ok, but its not showing up in MD. See screenshot.
Also I tried importing the same model into MD with a SKEL (?) skeleton format (there's only 2 skeleton formats, this version of MH is the nightly build version,

how do I make the models show up in MD after I import them?

Also I tried to make the model's clothes, didn't know that MD 2 does animation (cool feature) I'm at a loss of how to get the patterns for the clothes, clothes designs, how do I do this?

thanks in advance.

I can help you here; I have several MD3 projects that I'm happy to share so people can see what a good match MH is for MD.

You may be having trouble with the skin material, though in MH 1.0 the basic material is diffuse with alpha of 1.

Be that as it may, try these two MD3 projects and tell me how they work for you. They are both model and garment.
