Is it considered wrong/ cheating/ not good enough to use Makehuman in your own work of art? I want to create a graphic novel but my modelling won't be good enough for months at my present rate of improvement. Advice sought.

Why should it be considered that way? No, MakeHuman is designed for such purposes.

You can create art with MakeHuman which is only limited by two things:

1. Your imagination. You get to choose every aspect of your virtual human. After you make the model, it can then be exported into other 3D programs which allow you to put said model into a virtual world. Blender is really good for doing the dioramas and animations. It is designed to work close with MakeHuman this way.

2. Practice. MakeHuman has a lot of features and controls which take time to get the hang of. You can adjust hundreds of features to dial in the exact model you want, Many of these widgets interact. Thus, you need to create many models along the way to getting that perfect one.

We look forward to seeing what you can do.
