I'm a little rusty on my MH and Blender, but I was quite impressed at how easy (relative to many previous attempts) it was to export/import to Blender. Very impressive!
I did notice that (at least when rendered in Blender 2.5 Beta and a nightly from last night), the eyes and teeth appear to have flesh-toned SSS. Is this an oversight? Or is it a matter of "crikey that's difficult to export with different SSS on the eyes and teeth, and we've got bigger fish to fry..."? (Or naybe I'm somehow screwing things up?) Anybody notice whether rendering in AQSIS from MH shows the same tendancy (replacing the diffuse texture with a white one ought to help make the issue more noticeable).
Anyway, MH has been "almost a very useful tool" for many years now, so I was very pleasantly surprised to see how well it works with the latest blender (which I have yet to relearn) these days. Congratulations on the results of all your hard work!!
So if you could let me know whether fleshy SSS on the teeth and the sclera are a known issue (and maybe point me to a quick workaround in the new blender), that would be really keen!
