request for male/female avatars of different ethnicities! :)

Postby LINGresearch » Sat Jan 16, 2016 8:20 pm

Hello everyone,

I am a PhD student in linguistics, and I am trying to collect male and female avatars of different ethnicities to use for my research on ethnicity-based linguistic stereotyping. I first wanted to make the avatars myself from scratch, but seeing the amount of time, skill, and talent it requires to make the avatars look realistic, I thought I could just as well ask the experts (i.e. you!) if they have made any avatars that they would be willing to share! Even having a basis to then play around with is already so much better than building it up from nothing!
I know this is a long shot, but since I figured there are bound to be many great-looking avatars out there, why reinvent the wheel?

Oh, and I would only make use of the heads/faces; different clothing would be an extra variable that I do not want to factor in.

I hope some of you are willing to help me, or at least point me in the right direction!

Cheers!
