Eyelashes.

Hi guys,

I downloaded MH yesterday, and I have to say, it's a pretty sweet program so far. I want to use it to create base meshes for use in ZBrush, due to the fact that even though ZBrush's polyshpere system is fast, MH is faster.

However, there's one thing that's really bothering me, and I can't figure out how to get around the problem, so here goes:

Is there any way I can remove eyelashes from a Makehuman model? when I import it as an obj ito ZBrush, the eyelashes are flat, ugly bits of 2D-mesh that sticks out of the eye-lids. Now, I'm sure there's peeps out there that prefer working with eyelashes like that, but I don't.

Is there any way to remove eye-lashes from a model before I export it as an OBJ?

any advice welcome, guys, thanks a lot!

The current version of MH (the nightly builds, not the outdated alpha 6 release) actually does a double obj export. The clothed version is what you want. In the export options, unselect the Eyebrows, Eyelashes and Diamonds options. This will remove these parts of the mesh, as well as the cornea, from export in the clothed character. If you export the character with the name foo, the relevant file is foo_clothed.obj in the foo subdirectory.

If you intend to sculpt in ZBrush, it might be a good idea to use ascottk's proxy mesh instead of the high-poly base mesh. Select it in the LIbraries > Proxies tab before export.
