Hello,
This is my first message on this forum so hello everyone and thanks to the developers for this wonderful tool that is MakeHuman.
Regarding Background images, a bug has already been reported here:
background images
I'm confirming it (I'm only able to set a background image for the Front View, not the other ones) but also wanted to mention that the above thread does not report that the grid does not appear on the left/right/bottom views (while it appears on the front/back/top views).
I also wanted to make some suggestions as well:
- ability to adjust mouse sensitivity when moving the background image because it is quite hard to adjust it, even with mouse sensitivity set to 1, the image 'jump' big steps. Perhaps using a modifier key (pressing SHIFT for instance) would divide by 10 or something the mouse sensitivity.
- ability to constraint/center the background image. Usually you only want to move the image upward/downward (or zoom it) while being centered on the horizontal axis (or the opposite). A toggle switch could be helpful here.
- when switching from an image to 'None' then switching back, the size and position of the image are reseted. We have to adjust it again. It would be useful if MakeHuman keeps the image/view modifications and then present a 'Reset' button or something to us, if we want to reset the size/position manually, on purpose (and for each view).
- perhaps presenting numerical inputs for background images size/position could be helpful too.
Cheers,
Guy.
