Hey everyone! I'm new, to the forum and to 3D! I downloaded Blender 2.55 about two weeks ago after watching Sintel, and I've been having a lot of fun fooling around with it. I downloaded Make Human 1.0 alpha5 yesterday, and it's amazing!! Thank you for offering it. But, I did run across a problem, that I don't really know how to fix. I exported my model as an .obj and imported it into Blender. Then I selected everything and joined the meshes. I didn't notice a problem until I used Subdivision Surface... there's parts of the model where the faces, edges, and verticies are not connected, it creates these holes that you can't really see until you use Sub Surf. I found that I can select the verticies individually and merge at center to close the gap... but there is a lot of them, and I'm going a little crazy on my "hunt." Does anyone know an easier way to fix it? Or even better... how to prevent it from happening? I feel like I just did something weird, but I'm not sure what. So any help would be appreciated. And here are screenshots in case what I said didn't make much sense.

Model without Sub Surf... no holes, but you can see a "seam" on her left breast and in her armpit

Model with Sub Surf view: 1.... The seam rips open, and many more as well!

Close up on her back with Sub Surf.

Rendered image with a horrible rembrandt!! haha (I'm a photographer) Also... does anyone know what's going on above the left eye? That plate thing? She looks kinda like an android with it. I noticed it randomly in Make Human, but it kept disappearing (more like flickering) so I didn't worry about it. Doesn't show up in any mode, but it's there during the render.
Again, thank you for this program!!! I giggled with happiness when I got her into Blender... and I love her so much that I will go through and merge all of the verticies! But, I was hoping there was another (easier) way to fix it. And an early thank you ask well to those who help me with this.
