okay you should be able to drop the folders into the addons folder

to be exact download and run blender at least once adjusting the prefs to your liking (also forcing the creation of the folders you need).

what version of blender are you running?

So I found how to do it. On a mac 10.10 you have to go your finder menu bar, Open the finder, Go to the menu Bar and open the "Go" menu, Select "Go to Folder" Enter the following path: ~/Library/Application Support
There you will find the Blender Folder. Open it, you will see the version of Blender folder that you are running, open it, you will see 2 folders, 1 is the config folder the other is scripts folder, open scripts folder then you will see the addons folder. you open it and it should be blank, you drop the makeclothes folder, maketarget folder, makewalk folder and the mhx_importer folder in. Then restart Blender. That Should do it.
