Textures of clothes after import to Blender?

Postby jeanmeyer » Mon Aug 25, 2014 2:29 pm

Hello,

THANKS for such a great software with a real intuitive interface!

I am a NEWBIE to 3D and use MH 1.0.2 and Blender 2.7.1 with the adequate blendertools from the download page.

I created a test model following the documentation and everything worked fine, also the import to Blender. The result in Blender looks like the last picture (after import, ready for posing) in the documentation: http://www.makehuman.org/doc/node/blend ... usage.html

Is there a tutorial how to display the textures of clothes for the imported MH model or can someone tell me please, how to make the textures of the clothes visible.
Did something change from MH 1.0 alpha8 to 1.0.2 with displaying the clothes?

The documentation of MH 1.0 alpha8 shows the imported MH model with textures of the clothes:
http://www.makehuman.org/doc/node/makew ... ene_1.html
The animation of the imported MH model via MakeWalk with a .bvh file works perfect.

Thanks in advance
Jean

HI Jean,
probably the textures are there, but you don't see them because some display options in Blender.
The thing is a bit long to explain, but there are a lot of tutorials around the web, so goggling as Jonas suggests will solve the problem.

Hello Manuel and duststorm,
