Postby bbqkyle » Fri Apr 26, 2024 2:52 pm

Using Blender 4.1 i get this error when I click "Make clothes"

Python: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Users\BBQKy\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.1\scripts\addons\makeclothes\operators\createclothes.py", line 60, in execute
bpy.ops.object.mode_set(mode='OBJECT')
File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 4.1\4.1\scripts\modules\bpy\ops.py", line 109, in __call__
ret = _op_call(self.idname_py(), kw)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
RuntimeError: Operator bpy.ops.object.mode_set.poll() Context missing active object

Any help would be appreciated.

The short answer is that MakeClothes hasn't really been ported to blender 4. You're better off using blender 3.6 or lower if you want to use MakeClothes.

In the near future, the recommended path is to instead use the version of MakeClothes which comes bundled with MPFB (it's under the "create assets" panel). It is mostly feature complete and available in the nightly builds of the blender4 version of MPFB, but it hasn't been thoroughly tested and polished yet.
