Insecure download

Taking a SWAG I'd say the links to download "stuff" is being blocked by Chrome (and I'd suspect other browsers) as beig "insecure" due to a expired or invalid certificate. Just thought I'd relay.

Exactly which download link is this? Since the site doesn't use ssl, I'll be surprised if it is due to a certificate.

Well, it's just a statement of fact. The site does not use encryption when presenting pages. It is "not secure" in the sense that "the traffic is not encrypted between here and there", not in the sense "this is dangerous to use".

Modern browser have the bad habit of not showing the URL scheme anymore, (just like modern OSes turn off extensions by default :x ), but "I think" that browsers show this message when the scheme is "http://" instead of "https://". Depending on web server configuration, both schemes may go to the same web pages.

Edit: In Chrome on windows, I have to click on a separate confirmation to download anyway. This is not something I have ever had to do before but it seems more like a brower change than a problem with the download AFAICT
