Modern browser have the bad habit of not showing the URL scheme anymore, (just like modern OSes turn off extensions by default
), but "I think" that browsers show this message when the scheme is "http://" instead of "https://". Depending on web server configuration, both schemes may go to the same web pages.
Edit: In Chrome on windows, I have to click on a separate confirmation to download anyway. This is not something I have ever had to do before but it seems more like a brower change than a problem with the download AFAICT
