Anyone used makeHuman?

I was looking for a easier way to make human models. Does anyone use MakeHuman? Is it useful? Is it safe to download? The website says Not secure.

I've been using MakeHuman for years and have generated hundreds of characters with it.

You will have to spend some time using it and learning how it works in order to get useful work from the program but, once you do, MakeHuman works well.

As to security? Download MakeHuman through official channels (direct from the MH website) and you shouldn't have any problems.

The "not secure" means that the web site uses "http" instead of "https". Google and the other browser makers think all sites should use a SSL certificate when identifying themselves, whether they need it or not. But the site infrastructure was set up before this was true and is so outdated that adding certificates now is tricky. Thus the browser complains that it can't find the extra identification stuff when loading the site. This is a warning related to the web site, not the software.
