where will i find backgrounds

You can use any image file you wish. Simply put background images in the backgrounds folder. On Windows this is:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\makehuman\v1\backgrounds
on Linux:
~/makehuman/v1/backgrounds

To choose a background for each view go to Settings | Background They can be moved and resized

HDRI haven has some lovely free backgrounds that you can place behind your toons.

[loki1950]

Hdr works great for image based lighting in blender while makehuman can not handle hri's file format.
