When do you plan to start the production?
We are working on a new mesh, much better than the alpha7 one. It will be out at the end of june.

Sounds good Manuel.

At the moment I guess I'm still in an R&D type phase. I know in my head how I think I want it to look but need to do some tests. I guess I'm in the concept stage, it's going to be an ongoing project that I work on around my paid jobs and in my spare time. Which is why I've put 2013 on the poster images! :0)

Here's a few design updates.

The mask designs were created by sculpting a base mesh from Mh in ZBrush and the same process was used for the Joker's goon.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Manuel!

I'm finding Mh a great edition to developing this project as the meshes are a great starting point. I should probably do the retopology again after scultping but I'm trying to find a way round this at the moment to keep the project moving.

Amazing...! It would be even more "popular" using Open Source software only..

Thanks Maneul!

It would certainly be more popular amongst the Blender community if it was all made with open source software. I view it from the angle though that there is a strong place for commercial and open source software to work together, which I think strengthens the appeal of open source software showing that it can be used for professional applications/projects. I will be using Photoshop and and After Effects heavily in this project as well so would need to learn Gimp etc to go fully open source but I've bought my Adobe software so wouldn't want to do that... :D I've not had time to fully learn sculpting in Blender yet and Sculptris is good but limited.
