This one is titled Volleyball. I'm not much of a volleyball player, but to me it's always been one of those sports that was really just played because it was fun. Yes, you get the sport that's more serious, but I'm talking beach volleyball here, not olympics, haha.
The theme of playfulness really for me came down to an active person that enjoyed what they did or a pet doing something cute like chase your hand, haha; the latter did not leave much room for a make human entry imo.
It was simply made. I used Make Human to model the guy and I used the make human clothes, but I modified both in Blender. The face was the only part that got adjusted in Blender, along with the hair (het got new mesh hair, mixed with a base) and the shorts were done using the casual suit with the striped shirt, only without the shirt and new materials. The eyes are procedurally textured over the make human texture of the nightly build. Everything else was also modelled in Blender.
I do have to give credit where it's due. I did not do so well with mesh hair, because I was super focussed on the detail, so when I saw Alimayo's character tutorial's second part, he started with the big parts and worked to detail. The obvious is not always so obvious! haha.
