Alpha 3 uploaded

Postby joepal » Tue Mar 19, 2019 8:08 pm

I've uploaded alpha 3 both to tuxfamily (for windows) and to PPA (for linux) now. You can find download links from http://www.makehumancommunity.org/wiki/Releases:120a3

When I tested earlier I found a bug I had totally missed, so had to rebuild and reupload everything. This made me a bit paranoid, so I'm going to wait a day with making a bigger announcement on facebook and whatnot. It'd be wonderful if you wanted to help test the current upload and just paste an OK here if it works for you (or an error report if it doesn't).

If I don't hear anything depressing by tomorrow I'll make the announcement tomorrow night.

To my knowledge kinect works, at least to some degree. But we're still lacking some demo material to put in the documentation.

I don't have any kinect to test with, so I'm unable to add documentation or test it myself. Unfortunatly, the same goes for all the devs working on the core MH code.

If you want to follow the progress, you can browse through https://github.com/makehumancommunity/m ... der/issues, particularly https://github.com/makehumancommunity/m ... /issues/35

If you have further questions about it, I'm guessing your best bet is trying to contact JCPalmer, who contributed the kinect code.
