MakeClothing and non-quads

Got bit by something today. Here is the thing I was creating:

Other than starting over again, anyone have a suggestion how to fix that?

MakeClothes accepts only quads because MakeHUman does so. This in turn is for performance reasons. A mesh with F faces is represented by a F x 4 numpy array, so each face must be a quad.

Yes, it's matter of our quality standards, very high.
Also poles with more than 5 edges should be avoided.
