Crude sword

Description: 

An item intended to demonstrate non-deforming vertex groups. Here the entire sword has been assigned to a vertex group called "*sword" (note the asterisk). Then, on the human, exactly three vertices on the edges of the palm of the hand holding the sword have been assigned to "*sword". This is intended to demo how to create rigid groups which scales linearly with the size of the toon (in this case the distance between the three vertices in the palm) rather than deform in strange ways.
