Unwanted deformation on clothes/accessories

Postby rampagedog12 » Thu Sep 12, 2019 9:34 pm

I am using makeclothes for clothes and accessories.
When I import them back to makehuman, I get unwanted deformation.
For example, the watch doesn't fit a human when I changed the parameter.
I follow the instruction to make a medal...
I download some assets. Some look good when human is deformed.
The official female suit doesn't deform well..
How to create a good cloth/accessory???

Try the "What if automatic vertex groups don't work?" section of this page:

http://www.makehumancommunity.org/wiki/ ... on:Clothes

It's not a panacea, but it should help. Keep in mind that things can be affected by which mesh you use in MakeClothes. For example, right now I'm having a rough time with a skirt I made using the Average Female--you put it on a kid, for example, and it bunches up at the rear because the kid doesn't have an adult female's buttocks.

ATM makeclothes only works with blender 2.79 it has not been updated for 2.8 yet.

Enjoy the Choice :)

Try fitting clothes to the helper geometry instead of the human body.
