Semi-official fork of MHX2

Postby joepal » Wed Jul 31, 2019 7:46 am

As pull requests haven't been merged for some time, and we haven't really heard anything more about MHX2, we have started a semi-official fork of it. The fork can be found here: https://bitbucket.org/Aranuvir/mhx2-mak ... c/default/

We will continue to try to push fixes upstreams to Thomas's original repo at https://bitbucket.org/Diffeomorphic/mhx ... c/default/

The main point of the fork atm is to make MHX2 play nice with blender 2.80, something which is becoming rather urgent now that 2.80 is released as stable.

The plugins page (http://www.makehumancommunity.org/content/plugins.html) has been updated to provide a link to the fork.

Awesome, thanks for this! Any idea what doesn't work? I noticed in another thread you said there were some issues?

Currently Visemes do not work. But in great parts the tool is OK.

I tried using the Rigify armature, but it crashed for a couple of 2.80 changes. I got those fixed and saw there were still problems, so I checked blender 2.79 and Rigify doesn't work there, either. Does anyone know if the Rigify armature ever worked with MHX2, and if so, which blender version?

Thanks again,
