Late but nevertheless, welcome! It is always nice to see other artists creations and it's a great inspiration source.
Elyn, a very beautiful name, really looks like her name
And your images does her justice.

It's easy to be addicted by Blender and MakeHuman. All possibilities, always something new around the corner, an Blender universe

Promise?

Like a prediction, the rain finally came.
Pirata_62 wrote:Wetmap is one more thing (among many others) I still have to learn about blender. If only I had the patience to stick to the learning curve instead of jumping steps...
It's easy to wander about, stumble in the dark and trip over small or large details. Especially when wanting to do something and not know how, where to start and where to stop. We have all been there and still is. At least I have trouble with where to stop.
Pirata_62 wrote:My solution was the simplest one: I just dropped the roughness of the glossy shader down to 0. I'm still not using the principled bsdf for the skin, for no particular reason besides laziness. Not using SSS also, another item on the "things to learn" list.
One step at a time. Keep it simple and learn the basics. Blender interface can be a bit like a space shuttle cockpit but after a while you will learn where to find what you want, a great help is to learn the basic key shortcuts, at the beginning I never thought I would learn more than copy, past and undo but after a while, I started using keyboard shortcuts without even knowing about it. And I have never and still is not using keyboard shortcuts in any other software (other than previously mentioned).
