Having missed this picture: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13672&start=350#p45494 and watching this video on cg masters: https://cgmasters.net/free-tutorials/ma ... beginners/, it reminds me that in four weeks it is Oktoberfest time again. Maybe we could have some Tracht in the asset section? :D

BTW, I'm not that sure about the mustard on the pretzel, punkduck probably would add some Nuremberg sausages...

Okay, some explanation for all points: the (french-) maid costume was created by Elvaerwyn, I only created the beer-bottles  . The dress is used in this form in uniform fetishism, you normally will classify this as a piece of lingerie. Since the Japanese also create (comic/manga) characters wearing this dress, you will find it as a costume in cosplay. However there is a historic background which we always should be aware of:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_maid (see picture from 1906)

A "Tracht" (traditional costume) is totally different. When you look at the Oktoberfest, traditional Bavarians hate these sexy pseudo-dresses which were sold to the tourists. The real "Tracht" is rather unsexy:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tracht

and refers to more than only Bavaria. I was born in Northern Germany and also there you will find clothes called "Tracht", they look different ...
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9f/Friesentracht.JPG/450px-Friesentracht.JPG

Same with Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Slovenia ... you will find traditional clothes similar to a "Tracht".

Normally these clothes are worn on festive days. Doing a real traditional costume means a lot of work. Maybe I should try one as an example in the future.

Nutrition: Putting mustard on a pretzel is a bit weird over here. But sometimes, especially when you eat a Bavarian veal sausage with sweet mustard and a pretzel this happens by accident.

Here is an assumption why the pretzel was modeled with mustard (German only, sorry);
http://www.kurun.de/blog/2011/07/15/die-brezeln-und-der-senf/

To conclude: Because it tastes like nothing without a dip on it.

And blaming that to U.S. guys would be unfair, because sometimes they taste like nothing even here ... and it might be a solution to avoid that

But yes, I prefer the traditional Nuremberg form

A "Tracht" (traditional costume) is totally different.

Thanks, I know. And that's why I requested it.
When you look at the Oktoberfest, traditional Bavarians hate these sexy pseudo-dresses...

Unfortunately they get sold in great numbers, even on places where one shouldn't expect them.
Doing a real traditional costume means a lot of work.

That's why I even didn't try to start one....

I thought your PGI sausages were made of pork?

Thanks, that was really new to me. IMHO there is only one right way: fresh from the oven and with butter...
And blaming that to U.S. guys would be unfair, because sometimes they taste like nothing even here ...

It's the same as with that pseudo tracht...

We should generate a new section about German nutrition

Bavarian veal sausage = Weisswurst, traditionally it was not pork, but today it is. The bacon used for the sausage always was pork.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weisswurst

Nuremberg sausage is a Bratwurst (I guess this German word is known almost everywhere) and is very small. You order at least 6 ... or 12 ... or 18 :?
Sweet mustard is normally used for Weisswurst.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bratwurst

So much about traditional German nuitrition. Now answer the question why I feel hungry at 10 minutes before midnight ...

I guess my model did not eat this very often ... to keep in shape. When models wait for the next photo-shooting you get the best pictures. I read that in a photo-community and tried to create something like that.

This time I added the bonnet Elv has created to complete the outfit. So as Elv said: ready for download, gentlemen. ;)

You have been quite busy I see :D So many outstanding images that I dont know where to start.
To watch the horse evolve, that's some serious impressing work. And a very, very cute horse, and the same goes for your models of course.

In between I also created an account on DeviantArt. Nearly the same as here, black-punkduck, punkduck was already used. Since Mindfront did that on Flickr, I took the way other members are also using and joint DeviantArt. Although I'm not really feeling myself as an artist ... but who cares. The pictures I uploaded are mostly new renderings with new materials for the old pictures. This one I added to have a more casual dress for Noelia:

The picture which is considered as Mature Art in DeviantArt isn't that "mature", btw. But I will follow the rules ,,, because half-visible nipples are more dangerous than guns ,,,

Hi

In between I had a lot of collaboration with Elvaerwyn. Some of the pictures I will present at DeviantArt, others also here. I always asked myself how this "chain mail bikini" works on one of my characters. Typical metal cannot resize and fit breasts of different sizes or other parts, so I finally got the original version (triangle based) from Elv, a very detailed work. I adapt the chain mail bikini to my character manually and transferred the vertex-weights from the skin to it. Now I am able to pose the character.

Elv told me my girl is too soft. That's why I made her ;)

So I got a henna body painting from her to change this. This painting is used with a multiply color node on the skin. Now it is a combination between being soft and a vamp

Then I took the brass crown, two earrings as well as the cable drum and palettes I got from Mindfront. So we have human skin, metal and wood (cable drums). We need some concrete now. I created a simple location based on this picture:

https://pixabay.com/en/architecture-concrete-building-1639992/

So this time I will present a picture, which is a bit different now:

evi_chainbikini2.jpg

For the other one you have to enter your age ;)

https://www.deviantart.com/black-punkduck/art/Evi-wearing-a-chain-bikini-763241547

Elv is doing everything to fight against my lack of fantasy, maybe slowly I will change.

To widen my horizon I continued collaboration with Elvaerwyn. She had done a lot of assets, mostly to be used in OpenSim community. I never had expected, that usage outside this simulated world would also give fantastic results in Blender cycles render. Of course some shaders should be replaced here and there and some tweaking must be done to fit the character a bit better. After the chain bikini I tried it more fairy tale like and changed my Evi into a pixie cosplay character. Here is a bigger picture:

evi_pixie.jpg

I need her for a different picture. The next picture is meant for everyone who is in distress. We all need a pixie sometimes, do not chase her off.

And even models are not always happy. So I shrink Evi to 15% of her size and used polygon hair again. Then I equipped her with some light shaders, a bit transparency and also motion blur. All done in Blender, no GIMP overlay. And Dani will be happy again, these pixies are tough as far as I know, I promise she will.
