Why don't you try 3dsmax -> COLLADA -> Blender/Makeclothes -> Makehuman ?

id be happy to share clothing and hair assets with the community but i created them before learning how to generate assets for MH. these have lots of tris. allready attempted to convert them to all quads but the uv work that that caused was a bit more than i cared to take on just to be able to share the assets. now that i know the pipeline ill generate future content with MH clothes in mind and share when i can. i do intend to use this model for some personal projects, once those are done i'll likely share it as is.

Ugh, remeshing is an awful work. Often restarting from scratch is the faster solution...

No problem. Anyway, I'm not sure if there are any rules what is posted in this subforum, artistic WIP? technical WIP? A long time ago in a galaxy far far away there happened to be a plan to reorganize the forum, but the story ended terribly... If you think your posting would fit better in the gallery section, there shouldn't be a great problem to move this topic.
