I've started on bump map too, but this will take some time to figure out. Right now I have no idea how those are supposed to work and if mine works at all.

The diffuse texture, on the other hand, is much more manageable. Using it I've even made a quick and dirty variant loosely based on Star Trek uniform:
Looks interesting.

No, I wouldn't mind. Feel free to do so!

So, now when I'm trying to figure out git, I've uploaded the most current versions of the uniform and the boots into the contributions section:

I'll make thumbnails and illustrations later. I've progressed quite a bit while working on those if I do say so myself. At least, texturing doesn't scare me quite as much a before.

Once again, I re-worked my uniforms a little bit. This time, I did not change the boots, but rather shirts and trousers, by re-using the normal maps from the original MakeHuman tshirt_long and jeans01 clothes. This is the result, by the examples of the fully white, red-white, silver-grey and fully brown uniform variants:

And here, I made up a scene with three crewmen (a boy and two girls) in some observation lounge, in fully black and black-white uniforms (where one does not see much of the re-used normal maps, though, since the black color is very dark):

That is looking quite good with the Normal you are using.. not sure if it has small texture bumps (cant see them), (Something like in the example render) it might just help make it look a little more real. you could mix the Normal you have with a small texture bump to recreate a new normal..

But good job!!

ignore the color of the uniform in my render i was simply playing.
