makehuman rig

Postby Dragonmcd » Fri Dec 18, 2015 10:19 pm

I made a female with makehuman rigged it and rendered it and went to Maximo to animate but it messed up the animation.
So I made the skine again without bones and went back to Maximo and it worked this time.
For some reason it doid not like the skeleton from makehuman. :)

Maximo has it's own default rig for human models which unfortunately, is as useful in most situations, as putting a hat on a mule (IMO).

Another reason why I made the decision to go with MakeHuman versus any other source. I would suggest exporting your rigged model from MakeHuman into Blender, Daz, Maya, or any other 3D suite that allows you to apply your own .bvh files to your rigged model. Carnegie Mellon University has an extensive .bvh repository that is released under the Creative Commons Licensing.

Hope this is useful for you.
