Problem exporting an .obj file

Postby pichuneke » Thu Sep 04, 2008 8:37 pm

Hi, this is my first post here. I have used Makehuman once, to test it, and I want to use it in the future, when I learn Blender. The fact is that I have a question for you that is not mine, is from another user of another forum of 3D, and I told him to translate his doubt to english and ask his question here. And I know that my english is far from perfect, but lets try.

Mira exporto el muñeco en cuestión y me aparece

ewo
export OBJ file (insert valid path)
c/:DOcuments and setting/lajoya/misdocumentos/makehuman/myobj

esto último es la ruta a donde me manda el archivo que acabo de exportar voy allí y no hay nada, y lo mismo si lo quiero guardar u otra cosa

That translates to english aproximately that when he exports the figure, it appears:

ewo
export OBJ file (insert valid path)
c/:DOcuments and setting/lajoya/misdocumentos/makehuman/myobj

That is the path of the generated obj file, but in the directory the file doesn't appear. The same happens when he wants to save or another thing (I don't know what he refers to with the last part of the sentence in spanish, but the problem I believe that is clear).

Thanks in advance for your help :)

I think the key is "insert valid path" in means that you have to type in a name for the file.

I wish people would read the quick guide or at least my unofficial FAQ

He must type the file's name

ex.

c/:DOcuments and setting/lajoya/misdocumentos/makehuman/myobj/hombre.obj

(i think he would like to save even his model poses )

Y ,tambien ,es lo mismo.
