Random Charachters

Postby unluckyboy » Wed Sep 17, 2008 10:08 am

Hi,

I am working on a research project an I would like to generate automatically and randomly human characters. That will have to be exported as collada files to be used later on. Is there a way I can easily do this? Maybe using a python script?

Thanks!

i have a modified main.py that makes 'random' characters.
it doesnt randomize everything yet and the acceptable ranges for the numbers needs to be tuned.

does anyone know how to select and scale limbs in the python code?

It's a combination of targets. But, before modifying the code, it's better to wait MHalpha2 (coming very soon), because the event system and the plugin system is completely rewritten: more flexible and more easy. In this case you shouldn't never touch main.py, but simply add a new plugin module, that will be automatically loaded runtime.
