Installation of aqsis

Having just started by using makehuman (i.e. a true beginner) I am already stuck with the problem that the program does not recognize aqsis. I have successfully downloaded and installed the render program, but from makehuman I only get the message "Unable to find a render engine. Press ESC to exit!". There is not possibility ot define a specific path either. What am I doing wrong.
