dress clinging on

Postby myrlejon » Mon Nov 11, 2024 12:09 pm

hello!

first time posting here, right now i am trying to crate a human with a dress on.
unfortunately it clings onto the legs too much so it looks very odd.

is there any easy solutions or fixes i can look into? or should i try and modify these clothes on my own?

thanks in advance! :D

My quick guess is that you fit it to the human instead of the helpers. Try fitting the dress to the helpers instead.

You do this by assigning vertex groups on the clothes to use names of vertex groups which are present on the human. On the clothes, the vertex group should probably be set to "helper-skirt" rather than "body".

To see the helpers on the human, toggle the mask modifier on the body.
