How to make skeleton appear?

I have been trying to follow various tutorials on adding a skeleton to an MH model, but I don't see any skeleton.

For example tutorial: "MakeHuman & Blender: Create new pose" on YouTube.

Specifically, if I start MH and just use the default figure, then

Pose/Animate > Skeleton .. the figure rendering appears "ghostly" which matches tutorial 1:18.

then Rig Presets > select Default

... tutorial 1:21 shows a skeleton appearing, but for me, no skeleton appears.

Am I missing some setting?

For what it's worth, the system specs:

[*]Windows 10 Pro
[*] NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB
[*] Version: OpenGL 4.6.0 NVIDIA 522.30

This should work. Can you post a screenshot of how it looks on the pose/animate->skeleton tab when having selected a skeleton?

OK, it turns out that while the Default skeletons are hidden, the Cmu mb skeleton is partly revealed (lower legs), so I post an image of that as it's more informative. Please see attached image.

It seems transparency in OpenGL isn't working. It is not obvious why, since your hardware specs shouldn't be a problem.

Exactly which version of MakeHuman is this? If it is the 1.2.0 release, can you download the nightly build and see if that works better? It is here: https://download.tuxfamily.org/makehuman/nightly/

Sorry for delay in replying -- I was away.

I agree, it does seem like OpenGL transparency is not functioning properly for MakeHuman. This contrasts with other software where transparency seems to work fine, though it's difficult to tell what OpenGL functions are used by what software.

I uninstalled version 1.2.0 and installed the nightly MH version makehuman-community-20221127-nightly-windows.zip, and in that version, the bones display properly. I then uninstalled the nighty version and reinstalled 1.2.0, and it was back to the incorrect display of bones, ie: mostly hidden by non-transparent skin.

So some peculiarity of 1.2.0 fails to operate the skin transparency properly on my system. And that peculiarity is removed in current nightly version.
