given that we now have a new nifty clothing system i was wondering who has done clothes they feel like sharing??

personally im a hack when doing this kind of work so i don't think i could come up with anything worth sharing but
i do have a few requests/ideas if anybody wants to take a stab at it

(btw which files would be needed to share clothes??)

Ideas for female things
1 Cami
2 Tights
3 Slippers
4 Leotard/swimsuit
5 Unders without a Bra attached

I will be happy to share, once I have uploaded my latest two wig models.

Mostly I will be creating traditional clothes for Spanish and Mexican characters in the novel I am finishing.
They will be designed for Blender 2.60 with softbody and armature riggings, but I can also create the .obj files.
Look for this on November 1 2011 at http://www.nuegua.ca. I need to redesign the site for the clothes, wigs and architecture libraries. ;)

This is fun! And why I got involved with Makehuman in the first place. :)

Also, take a look at this if you plan on trying to get the clothes included in MH: http://sites.google.com/site/makehumand ... ng-clothes

I am doing clothes modeling, so these suggestions are great. Keep them coming!

Also, if you can give a reference image of what is needed, that would help loads.

This thread viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1960 might be useful if you try to follow the tailor guide too.

I don't know what's needed. :) Personally I tried to model a proper female swimsuit, but ran into some technical problems. Other things I've considered would include:

  • Shorts
  • T-shirt
  • Shoes
  • Tank top
  • Military boots
  • Sandals
  • Wooly cap
  • Baseball cap
  • Belt
  • Formal white-collar shirt
  • Tie

These should fit the clothing system. Other more advanced projects would include some uniforms:

  • Military/camouflage
  • Nurse
  • Police

I think hanging stuff or static mesh decorations might act funny with the deformations though.

What's stopping me atm is mainly that I'm too daft to follow the instructions. :)

Anything else needed before I texture?

I make clothes for modeling, so these tips are good. Keep them coming!
Also, if you can give a reference to a picture of what is necessary, it would help loads.

Actually, all is necessary :-) but paying attention to the modeling quality.
Best,
