The law of point sequence

Postby ZBobiu » Tue Apr 06, 2021 3:07 pm

In the file 0_modeling_a_measurement, is the point sequence corresponding to each size measurement regular? If there is a regular pattern, is it possible to customize a new point sequence?

No, it is not regular. Nor is there a guarrantee that the relation between the points are always the same across characters.

The points are vertex indices. A vertex position is in some sense arbitrary. It can be modified by many targets.

Imagine for example that you have character A which is young and has a smooth neck, and character B which is old and has a wrinkly neck. Since the neck has different topologies across the two characters, the vertex positions are different to start with. On one character two vertex points can be close to each other, while on the other character, they may be farther apart.
