Material tab on MH

Postby Marco_105 » Wed Mar 03, 2021 10:34 am

Hello everybody,
I hope you fine, I know MH since few years ago.
I changed my OS to W10, on my old W7 I could keep the link with the current texture folder,
which was handy for future changes, but now seems impossible, at any time the link is
renewed to appdata> current user> makehuman-community> and so on.
Some tricks are avaible maybe to hack that behaviour ?

In Windows 10, I think what you want to do is "install for everyone" rather than "just for me" then it won't use the hidden appdata folder.

I think this is already done because my makehuman-community folder is in the Programm File and avalaible for all users. Maybe it's a feature come in W10.
I thank you very much to answer anyway.

If you "installed for all" your assets will be in "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\makehuman\v1py3" rather than appdata. It is not where you "program" folder is. BTW, appdata is a hidden folder, so if you are not seeing it, you will need to go into file explorer and check show hidden files.
