openSUSE packages available for testing

Hello, if you are using the openSUSE Linux distribution (either version 15.1, 15.2, or Tumbleweed), you might be interested to try the MakeHuman packages I created at my home:cfeck repository.

Clicking the .ymp buttons will install the Python dependencies and all four required packages:
* makehuman
* makehuman-assets
* makehuman-base-female
* makehuman-base-male

You can also manually add the repository; instructions are on the same page.

The MakeHuman version is currently 1.2.0-beta2.

To start the application, run /usr/share/makehuman/makehuman (it is suggested to add this to the start menu).

Would it be OK if I contact you as and when we start preparing for the final MakeHuman 1.2.0 stable release, and ask you if you can rebuild SUSE release packages then?

Sure, I plan to update the package irregularily from master branch anyway, but please don't delay release if I don't react in time. Does it make sense to package the community plugins yet?

It definitely makes sense to package MHAPI, Socket, asset downloader and mass produce.

The blender side plugins are less obvious. It depends on if suse has a dependable packaging of blender. Ubuntu does not, so we have actively not packaged any of the blender side plugins as deb.
