is there a plugin or batch script that will mas export the base mesh as obj\fbx and each of the facial expressions as MDD vertex animation data?
Zbrush uses MDD to store vertex animation of the base mesh and Blender supports MDD vertex animation
then a set of expressions could be loaded into zbrush/blender as shape animation layers
Does this functionality exist?
Long ago I used a program from singular inversions that would do that
if you made a face as you like it you could output the 20+ phoneme expressions as shape targets all at once
I'm interested in multi object export but spwecifically I am asking about the MDD as the shape animation for faces can be tweaked in zbrush then rexported to blender for bone animation
The MDD is preferable because its the same base shape just moved vertices
in the layers tab of zbrush is "import MDD"
