MakeClothes2

Postby SaltyCowdawg » Fri Jan 24, 2020 7:09 pm

From what I remember from my flailing attempts to make clothing using the original MakeClothes it was preferred when you textured your clothing it be done in Blender render instead of Cycles which precluded multiple channels of materials. Is that still a restriction (one material) and is Evee the new standard for making clothes?

MakeClothes (and the upcoming MakeSkin, see https://github.com/makehumancommunity/c ... s-makeskin) is cycles/eevee node setup materials only. The idea is that the node setup will be parsed in order to figure out what's a diffuse texture, what's a normal map and so on.
