Hi every body!. I would like to know what is the best way to design specific clothes in Makehuman. I need to make clothes for Formula 1 drivers, including helmets and gloves, and I can not find any library that contains that type of material. Any help about is apreciatte.
I do not know if it's relevant or not, but the designs are for printing in 3D (stereolithography), not for making animations.
Thank you so much
Marcelo

The short answer is to use the MakeClothes plugin in Blender. This allows the fitting of clothes to the basemesh and/or helpers.

I do not think there is lots for formula one drivers at the moment, but there is a community repository for you to look through that has a few helmets and gloves that can provide insight into how such objects are constructed.

If you are going to use many of these assets, I suggest you download the 1.2.0 alpha 3 version so you can take advantage of the built-in asset downloader (TOC #12) .

MH does have an .stl exporter, but I will point out that the result may have more polygons than ideal for printing quickly. Post-processing might be useful.
