Making a very advanced rig from scrath

Hello everyone.
I need a very advanced rig for the face of my characters. what I'm asking is how to create one?

Questions:
1. Is it possible to add or remove as many rig as you need to MH characters?
2. Can you make rigs from scratch for MH characters? ( based on your prefered hierarchy and numbers )
3. What a good start for learning to edit/create bone for MH? Can you give the link or name?!

Thank you and have a nice day.

All the rigs are first made and parented to the meshes in blender then a proper definition file for that rig must be created that MH understands there is an unmaintained utility program for this there is also no documentation.

Enjoy the Choice :)

I can't find screenshots right now, but from what I remember, the rigify addon that comes with blender 2.79 has facial bones, that differ from MH's facial bones, and may be more advanced. (I have not used it, though. )

Here you go. This is an MMA rig I designed, with facial bones, and IK bones for subtle wrist and ankle moves (needed for wushu kung fu).

Thank you for sharing. I think your file helps a lot for me to understand the works...

By your answer I think there is no limitation for the number of bones we use...right?

Thanks for answer but what I'm looking for is making one from scratch with 100 bones only in the face... so...

Have a nice day
