Need some advice and some guidance

Hey all. So I've started using MakeHuman to create some content for a game idea I'm prototyping but I'm running into a lot of issues and could use your help.

Here's a break down of the issues I'm having:

1. Since this is a game I was thinking that the gaming rig would be ideal to use due to its simplicity... But the tool add-on provided for attaching bvh files to the model MakeWalk doesn't seem to work with the gaming rig. Is there some work around for this?
2. I had some issues with the MakeClothes add-on in the version of Blender I was using and came across a post in the forums saying I should try using Blender version 2.72. So I upgraded to that and shazam! MakeClothes is there now... But not the import MHX option in the file menu, or the MakeWalk option either.
3. Is there an optimum or ideal version of blender and/or makehuman for windows 8 64bit where all the add-ons play nicely together?

#3 is the main thrust of this entire post.

In the great words of a certain Princess "Help me Obiwan Kenobi... You're my only hope."

MHX is deprecated, and you don't need it for MakeWalk or MakeClothes. You can use DAE export.

I'm not sure. I believe the blender scripts supplied with the nightly builds all work in recent blender versions.

It's possible MakeWalk is not yet updated to work with all the new rigs. But then again, MakeHuman 1.1 is still unstable and has not been released yet.

Ah. Ok. I'll try tonight with the dae export just to see if that sorts it out.

I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks!
