Ok. This is exactly a misleading Google adversing to report us.
I don't know what trick these people uses, but they managed to appear almost invisible. Google don't stop these people. I've blocked many of these banners, but they resurrect after a week or two with a slightly different name.

Something has changed. The same ad is now showing with a lighter grey background (same as the side ads) which is better and clearer to read.
It links to:
http://www.ziputil.net/gb/si?adnm=38484 ... 6836963289
Maybe the ad was using a transparent background to blend in to the site.

Would the fake download ads disappeared the word download was eliminated from the site?

Instead of "Download" use "Receive MakeHuman" or "Transfer MakeHuman" or some other terminology that a real human being would understand to be an analogue for "download" but the adbots would not.

Not that I want to detract from MH's ad revenue (if any), but try running Firefox with "No Script." Site looks and works fine - not even Google may run code on my machine without my say-so.

Currently MH's only revenue comes from these ads.
Website visits with ad blockers enabled mean less income for the MakeHuman organization, to pay the domain name and hosting, for example.

Of course we do not take from you the right to use an ad blocker, that choice is up to you.
